About

Gino Canella is a researcher, educator and documentary filmmaker. He produces media with grassroots organizers and studies how the political economy of media affects the production and circulation of information. He is an associate professor of journalism and media studies at Emerson College.

His research has been published in top journals in communication and media studies, and his films have aired on public television and screened at international film festivals.
